Sharon Wilsie - Horse Speak Clinic
Conversations with horses in their language

June 20 at 4:00p.m. through June 23 at 11:00a.m., 2018
September 5 at 4:00p.m. through September 8 at 11:00a.m.2018
Sharon Wilsie , best selling author of the book "Horse Speak" will host two getaway clinics at Mountain Horse Farm.

Horse Speak, is a practical system for “listening” and “talking” to horses in their language, instead of expecting them to comprehend ours. Horse Speak can be used by anyone who works with horses, whether riding instructor, colt starter, recreational rider, or avid competitor. The clinics at Mountain Horse Farm start at the ground level so no prior experience is necessary. Horse Speak promises improved understanding of what a horse is telling you, and provides simple replies you can use to tell him that you “hear” him, you “get it,” and you have ideas you want to share with him, too.  Sharon's second book "Horses in Translation" comes out in Spring.

Topics will include:
  • How to say Hello to your Horse
  • Boundaries & Bonding
  • The 13 buttons of Horse Speak
  • How to  Lead with your Feet
  • Breath Messsages

Join us for this amazing three-night, all-inclusive clinic, which includes 12 hours of hands on instruction by Sharon, your accommodations, evening bonfires to have fun together and reflect on the day, and all delicious meals starting with dinner on the first night and ending with breakfast on the last morning. For sleeping, you have your choice of elegant rooms with fireplaces and outdoor hot tubs, to glamping in tipis (yes, tipis!) – your choice.

Private 30 minutes sessions with Sharon can be added for an additional charge of $75 per 30 minutes.

You will work with our herd of horses. It is not an option to bring your own. This clinic does not involve riding horses.

Private accommodations for clinic guests only, including the Lodge, Carriage House, Tipis and Horse barn & Arena. No other guests will be staying during these days and the maximum number of participants is 10. To interact with the horses you will be asked to sign a waiver. Make sure you wear shoes with closed toes (no flipflops, slippers or sandals) and it's always a good idea to dress in layers.
